The Doctor’s found the perfect halloween costumes. Now he just needs to convince Tony and Rose…

-clarisse-:

“I find myself wanting to draw a perfect rose, over and over, although I cannot find a rose anywhere. In my dreams, I keep asking a girl where to find one, and she is dressed in the most immodest and extraordinary way. She will not answer me, and she keeps walking away.”

Doctor Who rewatch: 1.03 - The Unquiet Dead.

OHhhh it just makes me remember how much 9 captured me..and then passed me on to 10 with a saying “Love her like I couldn’t”

And then 10 passes on to TenToo saying the same thing.

I love too how he doesn’t deny here that it was a date (like he does with Blon lolol, and Martha), and how he doesn’t deny in The Impossible Planet that they were a couple (like he does with Donna). Says quite a lot <3

It *is* a sick relationship. First off, from the Doctor’s point of view, this relationship is completely predetermined (and he knows it!), which is a bit squicky. Second of all, River was brainwashed from childhood to be obsessed with the Doctor - she never had a choice to be without him as a major influence on her. She never had a choice to walk away, to NOT care, to have a life separate from his. She had no choice in the matter - and, really, neither did he. She has no true independence from him - and that may be many things, but healthy isn’t one of them.
FWIW, my hate isn’t for River - it’s for a badly-written female character who could have been a HBIC, but who now seems emotionally disturbed and obsessed.
My dislike is 100% on the writer and the poor, bass-ackwards choices he made re her story.

I think the Doctor would be mystified as to why Sherlock couldn’t figure out that taxi cabs have drivers. Then again, this is the same Doctor who was mystified that paper was made from trees, so lol who knows XD
(IDGI why Moffat likes to write his main characters as idiots sometimes …)

‘While others seem to love her, I can’t stand Amy. The way she treats Rory is awful. It’s shocking, really. He adores her, and yet all she ever seems to think about is Doctor this, Doctor that. Hell, she tried to kiss the guy, (violently) the night before her wedding. I’ve warmed up to her in the slightest over the latter half of series six, as it seems she’s finally appreciating someone who has loved her all along.’
